What influences your perception?

Our perception profoundly shapes how we interpret the world, react to situations, and ultimately define our reality. By consciously refining and adjusting our perceptions, we can significantly influence our outlook and enhance our mental well-being. This transformation empowers us to approach challenges with a more positive mindset and fosters resilience in the face of adversity.

Workshops & Presentations

What are you doing to retain your teachers?

Teachers want their voices heard, meaningful support from administrators, and to feel genuinely valued. Achieving this requires a comprehensive, intentional approach to teacher appreciation that goes far beyond surface level gestures. During my years as a campus administrator, I implemented systems, structures, and practices that not only increased teacher retention but also made my campus highly sought after by educators. True appreciation is not about occasional perks like jean days; it is about creating a culture where teachers consistently feel respected, supported, and fulfilled. In this interactive and engaging workshop, I model and share proven strategies while guiding campus administrators in designing their own sustainable, personalized teacher appreciation and retention plans that make a lasting impact.

ABC's of school culture

Building a strong school culture doesn’t happen by chance; it happens by design. In this session, participants will explore practical strategies that support a positive and thriving campus environment. You will learn about actionable ideas for students, teachers, and campus administrators that promote connection, engagement, and fun. Attendees will leave with ready to implement tools and fresh perspectives to elevate their school culture to the next level.

Do Your Teachers Feel Appreciated?

Today’s teachers are pulled in countless directions: IEPs, 504s, state assessments, meetings, professional development, parent communication, grading, and more, and too often, appreciation gets lost in the pressure. While budgets and financial limitations can make recognition challenging, meaningful appreciation doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. In this session, discover creative, high impact strategies that make teachers feel seen, valued, and celebrated without breaking the budget, and walk away with practical, easy to implement ideas that build morale, strengthen culture, and remind your staff just how important they are.

School Administrators as Instructional Leaders

What does it truly mean to be an Instructional Leader? Do school administrators need to master every state standard across all content areas? The answer is no. Instructional leadership is not about knowing everything, but about leading with purpose, clarity, and impact. In this session, instructional leadership is broken down into three essential components: Be Visible, Model Strategies, and Have Fun. Participants will discover practical, high leverage ways to show up in classrooms, support teachers through modeling, and create an engaging, energized learning environment, while gaining simple, actionable ideas to elevate their leadership and position themselves as confident, effective Instructional leaders on their campus.

Making Learning Fun & Engaging

Want strategies you can implement immediately that actually energize your learners? This session delivers. Participants will experience and walk away with dynamic, high impact grouping and instructional strategies designed to increase engagement, boost participation, and make learning memorable. Through demonstrations and practical applications, you’ll gain ready to use tools that can be seamlessly implemented in both professional development settings and classrooms, transforming learning into an experience that is interactive, meaningful, and fun.

From Surviving to Thriving: Leadership That Transforms Schools

Today’s leaders are expected to do it all, boost staff morale, increase student achievement, maintain visibility, and remain accessible, often all at once. Thriving in this role requires more than effort; it requires intentional leadership. In this session, we will redefine what it means to lead effectively and explore practical, high impact strategies that keep leaders energized while empowering staff to perform at their highest levels. When leaders are purposeful and staff feel supported, the result is a culture where both educators and students thrive.
